Principal's Message

Welcome to the students, families, and community of Lake Mills High School!

After graduating from Cardinal Stritch University with a Bachelor of Science (Political Science), I entered the workforce as a loan officer and, after a while, realized that something was missing. Eventually, I went back to UW-Milwaukee, earned my teaching certification, and entered the field of education. That led me to UW-Whitewater as a graduate assistant to the men's basketball team while I obtained a Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction.

In 2006, I was hired at Lake Mills and spent six years as a social studies teacher, varsity basketball coach, and athletic director (four years). Throughout my time in Lake Mills and with my family's support, I received a Master's in Educational Leadership through UW-Madison. In 2012, I entered into administration at Brookfield East High School as the Activities Director. After one year, I became Principal/Athletic Administrator at Johnson Creek Middle and High School in 2013, where I served that community for three years before coming to Lake Mills High School as Principal. My wife Emily and I live in Lake Mills with our two sons, who attend Lake Mills High School.

As the principal at Lake Mills High School, I am honored, humbled, and excited to be a part of the LMHS community as we put forth our full commitment to daily excellence in everything we do. We look forward to building relationships with all of you as we help prepare our students for success as they enter the world of college, career, and community after LMHS!

Go L-Cats!
